POSITION SUMMARY: (OVERALL PURPOSE, WHY THIS POSITION EXISTS)
The business development manager is in charge of developing service business solutions. The main goal is to drive sustainable financial growth in new Services business. This includes new sales strategies, sales pitches, and business plans.:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: (MAJOR END RESULTS FOR WHICH THIS JOB IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE)

  • Develop strategies to support sustained and profitable growth
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and services that would appeal to new customers
  • Leverages the Company's brand and services strengths to market Kodak Alaris Services
  • Establishes a rigorous, disciplined approach to managing the business (e.g., objectives, expectations, accountability, actions, and outcomes)
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Works/lead cross-functional team to develop the appropriate go to market models
  • Negotiates contracts

 

SKILL AND/OR KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Services industry and its current events
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior negotiation and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and drive to produce results
  • Excellent presentation skills, both internally and externally
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree

10 -- 15 years' experience in Sales or Field Technical Management
