Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize project management skills to complete the review and implementation of additional Workday modules as well as changes/updates to current modules and processes.
  • Identify future Workday system enhancements or functionality that may be beneficial to the Firm.
  • Provide support for HR systems, including researching technical issues, unexpected results or process flaws and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet system and workflow requirements.
  • Partner with various departments to understand business needs, communicate system capabilities/limitations, and translate into system design
  • Maintain data integrity by conducting periodic data audits, enhancing business processes, and executing mass data changes
  • Maintain change management documentation to satisfy audit controls and compliance best practices
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements
  • Develop specification documentation for configuration.
  • Manage ongoing configuration, design, maintenance and implementation of the human capital management application in Workday.
  • Participate in the review, testing and implementation of bi-annual Workday releases and other system releases or patches; determine impact, participate in regression testing for new system features and communication of changes/benefits to end users.
  • Provide reporting support with regard to weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ad hoc reports, and data requests for surveys.
  • Conduct needs assessments with internal customers on report requirements; write or modify custom reports based on user requirements. Develop and maintain documentation on custom reports.
  • Analyze HR data to assist with leadership's decision-making.
  • Coordinate accurate data exchange with benefit providers, troubleshoot integration issues and set up new integrations as needed.
  • Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure that procedures are followed and adequate internal controls are maintained.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Automate internal auditing tasks by leveraging Workday reporting


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the, education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required.)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology Management or other related area of study or related experience. Master's degree A+
  • Minimum of 10 years technical work experience in a major HCM product: Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Ulti-Pro, and ADP Enterprise/Streamline. Workday Preferred.
  • Functional / Technical Knowledge in HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll.
  • Minimum of 5 years audit or systems administration experience Knowledge of Workday A+
  • Ability to automate internal auditing tasks by leveraging Workday reporting
  • Prior Workday report writing skills A +
  • Strong expertise utilizing advanced functions in Spreadsheet (Excel), database (Access) and data extraction (query) software (ACL or similar).
  • Internal audit, risk management, and/or Insurance background desirable.
  • Prior experience communicating and interfacing with a variety of levels throughout the organization required.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to communicate ideas effectively and concisely to all levels of Management, internal and external auditors and outside contacts.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under stressful conditions and coordinate the completion of multiple tasks simultaneously.
