The Global Security Master (GSM) trading business is actively involved in the origination, securitization, and secondary trading of a variety of mortgage and asset-backed securities. They operate in three major regions, North America, Europe and other Emerging Markets and Asia. The primary products include residential mortgages, commercial mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, and studentloans. GSM Front-office Technology team builds and supports cutting edge and robust technology solutions that allow our business users to gain a competitive advantage. This technology team focuses on building applications that allow trading desks to manage their positions, price some of the most complicated financial products in the market, perform prepayment/cash flow/scenario analysis to hedge and risk manage their positions. The team, comprising of seasoned technologists and business domain experts, works closely with the traders, risk managers, research analysts and senior management to identify market opportunities and deliver solutions using Agile development principles.This is an experienced web developer position.  Qualified candidate will be responsible for design and development of Modular, Maintainable, Measurable, and Efficient applications.  Candidate will focus on the separation of content and presentation through the use of Web Standards, CSS, HTML5, leading JavaScript libraries, and robust and scalable presentation layer architectures.



  • 5+ years developing complex User Interface (UI) applications with contemporary frontend technology stack
  • Experience with front-end build tools/task runners like NPM, gulp, grunt, webpack
  • Experience with architecting Single Page Applications (SPAs) using common design patterns
  • Hands on experience with ES6, HTML5, CSS3, CSS Preprocessors
  • Expertise as designer in user interface Application and Developer in developing Web Application using Web Standards, javaScript, AngularjS
  • Must have strong UI coding experience
  • Hands on experience with Object Oriented JavaScript. Good understanding of OOPS Concepts.
  • Good knowledge of AngularJS Responsive design.
  • Extensive experience in Java script development is mandatory
  • Strong team player and collaboration skills
  • Experience with JavaScript Unit Testing frameworks
  • Experience of DevOps environment and platforms ( git, TeamCity etc) Familiarity with an Agile approach to development
  • Familiarity with an Agile approach for development
  • Knowledge of working with UX teams and designers
