Under the direction of Manager Network Engineering and New Business Engineer, the Senior Project Engineer will develop, implement and manage capital improvement projects for transmission, distribution and treatment systems, including preliminary concept development, detailed engineering design, construction cost estimation, bidding, construction supervision, startup process, as-built plans, and O&M manuals. Incumbent will also assist in the Haworth Engineering team as needed. The Senior Project Engineer will also manage and will operate the Water and Sewer Hydraulic models for Suez NJ Division
Six years as a CIVIL Engineer for major Civil Engineering projects ranging in complexity and size.
At least four years of solid Water and Sewer Hydraulic modeling experience
Possesses broad knowledge of multiple processes and/or engineering disciplines, augmented with good experience and seasoning, to the point where they can address the most complex projects or address the most complex challenges, such as leading a response to an emergency. May propose capital projects, or identify other work that will benefit SUEZ and/or a customer, based on their expertise in one or more areas.
Experience in managing water infrastructure new and replacement projects.
Experience in managing and adhering to project budgets and schedules.
Excellent analytical, organizational, computer and interpersonal skills.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Extensive Knowledge of MS Office, and AutoCAD. ESRI/GIS, PowerPlan, INFOR experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
NJ PE License is must.
Over 6 years of engineering experience
Master Degree of engineering is a plus
