We are seeking a seasoned, energetic, and insightful leader to assume the role of Chief Statistician (Senior Vice President level) for the U.S. KnowledgePanel at Ipsos U.S. Public Affairs. Your main responsibility will involve overseeing the design, sampling, and weighting processes for the KnowledgePanel, which annually hosts more than 400 surveys for nearly 100 different clients and also serves as an innovation hub for devising new survey-based methods. You will lead a team of 10 professionals, integral to our work at Ipsos U.S. Public Affairs, with expertise in statistics, sampling, weighting, data science, complex sample designs, data merging, and advanced techniques such as machine learning and natural language processing. The leadership of this team necessitates an individual who can successfully balance team management and mentoring, coordinate work across multiple ongoing and ad hoc projects, collaborate seamlessly across all project and system stakeholders, and confidently assist clients in defining, designing, and implementing sampling, weighting, design, and other solutions to meet their data and insights requirements.
As the Chief Statistician, you will be a crucial member of the Research & Innovation leadership team within U.S. Public Affairs, responsible for shaping strategy and direction for all our critical capabilities. You will directly report to the Chief Research Officer of Ipsos U.S. Public Affairs.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $210,000 Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
