We're looking for someone who's excited about everything todowith words: creating names, developing unique voices, turning strategy into storytelling. Someone who knows how to write well, and how to think and talk about how their writing fits into the broader world of strategy and design. As a senior writer for Interbrand Health, we are looking to find someonewith exposure to and/or priorexperiencewithHealthcare/Pharma/Science clients or agencies, alongwith scientific writing skills. Someone who would be excited to join a small teamwith ample opportunities for individual ownership and the opportunities to create your own path. Hours would probably be around30-40hours per week, and we would be open to either someone on-site in the NY office or working remotely. We would provide flexibility for the right candidate.

THE ROLE:

    • Support Interbrand Health’s verbal work on upcoming client assignments for early 2018:
    • Understand clients’ businesses and cultures, and use that understanding to create effective work
    • Assist in the client presentations with energy and credibility
    • Support project leads in performing research, generating creative content and building presentations
    • Contribute to projects in all verbal practices: naming, voice, messaging and content strategy, and content creation
    • Work with strategists, designers, program managers and more
    • Collaborate with more senior verbals to develop intellectual property (articles, white papers, etc.) related to our verbal practices 

REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field. We have a broad definition of "related," including any verbal-focused or writing-intensive field like linguistics, creative writing, advertising, philosophy, etc.
    • 4-6years in branding, advertising, marketing, PR, or a related field, either client- or agency-side
    • Science, Healthcare or Pharma background is a big plus
    • Scientific Writing experience is a big plus
    • Experience writing creative briefs and taking direction from creative briefs
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PowerPoint is a plus
    • Knowledge of foreign languages or experiencewithtrademark a plus
    • Ability to work collaboratively to find insights and develop new ideas
    • Ability to consistently deliver quality creative
