Position Title: Senior Veeva Administrator
Preferred Location: Remote – US
Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
System Administration in Veeva Quality and/or Veeva RIM/Submission:
Management of system permissions
Perform change management activities in support of vendor enhancements and customer requirements
Design solutions and manage configuration
Configure and manage integrations to Vault platform
Participate in the development of solutions and manage project/change timelines
Liaise with users to resolve issues
Oversee Veeva managed services resources
Define and oversee documentation of configuration and design specifications
Experience with Other Regulated Applications, such as Learning Management Systems and Quality Management Systems
Experience Working on SaaS Systems
Establish the program for supporting organization-wide applications
Proactively engage with the business system owners and engage with Stakeholders
Provide advice and recommendations
Actively seek out work and develop relationships with business partners
Aid the Computer Systems Validation team
In conjunction with Computer Systems Validation team, develop and execute business application testing, installs, rollouts and upgrades. Examples include: Quality Management System, Regulatory Information management system, Training Management system, etc.
Lead or Assist with the implementation of new applications
Examples: ERP, eTMF
Analyze business systems to identify inefficiencies and problems and recommend solutions, with the help of the business partners.
Collaborate with business users and software vendors to troubleshoot configuration, installation and implementation issues.
Where needed document and/or develop application specific disaster recovery plans.
Communicate problems and resolutions to Service Desk personnel to improve ongoing services delivery and support.
Understand the business and be able to articulate their needs into technical specifications and solutions.
Prepare and maintain documentation of application systems, configuration, and procedures.
Respond to emergency situations as needed for the purpose of resolving immediate issues.
Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)
Minimum 5 years' experience working with application software and computerized business systems in the areas of major implementations, integration, and upgrades of software.
Bachelor's degree in MIS, business or accounting or equivalent education and/or experience.
Experience in the pharmaceutical Industry
Strong knowledge of SaaS solutions, and manage hosted offerings.
Strong knowledge of current technology development/trends.
Experienced in doing application management and support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail orientation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a challenging, fast-pasted, dynamic environment
Ability to handle stress associated with the required immediate resolution of issues
Ability to work at times outside business hours and on-call support for application upgrades, outages and implementations
