Nexidia provides the best business-class technology for turning a company’s customer interactions into valuable insights.  We are currently looking for a mid- or senior-level user experience designer to help us take our products to the next level.

The user experience designer will play a key role in shaping the user experience of Nexidia’s market-leading analytics products.  The primary focus of this role will be to contribute to the design of our next generation analytics product offering, as well as update the current offering to account for new functionality as needed.  The successful candidate will analyze the current product / UX to determine which aspects work well “as is”, and which to update or redesign, and will lead that redesign effort.  Further, this individual will lead the design of net new modules and functionality within the application.  The UX designer will work closely with product managers / product owners, engineering, and product users (internal and external) in order to communicate proposed designs and gather feedback for their refinement.  If you enjoy working in an informal, collaborative atmosphere where success is rewarded, pleaseapply now.


  • Translate business requirements and user stories into meaningful interactive experiences
  • Provide strategic thought leadership relating to principles of usability and user-centric design
  • Work closely with other agile team members (product managers, developers, QA) to support the implementation of user interface designs
  • Apply corporate UX standards to new software products and modules to ensure compliance. Identify cases where corporate standard may negatively impact product functionality / usability and effectively communicate both the issue and alternative solutions
  • Work with corporate UX group as needed to understand and influence corporate standards
  • Contribute to requirements definition / wireframes for updates to HTML prototype (developed by 3rd party vendor)
  • Lead design of one or several features including user needs assessment, varying fidelities of wireframes / prototypes, final visual comps / graphics


  • Minimum seven (7) years experience with wire framing and prototyping tools such (e.g,. Balsamiq, JustinMind)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
  • Experience in graphical design of user interfaces
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary agile team delivering releases in short term, focused, iterative cycles
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written)
  • Ability to balance needs of a large number of concurrent projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Be able to produce and explore multiple design options for new concepts
  • Experience with data visualization is a plus, but not required
