YOUR ROLE

Genworth Financial, Inc. is seeking an experienced treasury professional to assume key responsibilities including complex financial analysis, compliance and support treasury/business initiatives, projects and processes. You will operate and make decisions independently while being part of a team environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for managing multi-faceted highly complex analysis and reporting
  • Independently conduct research of relevant economic trends and develop sensitivity analysis to determine any impact/opportunity for the organization
  • Collaborate with FP&A and other functional areas to ensure alignment on projections
  • Negotiate, collaborate and influence internal and external business partners to achieve department and company objectives
  • Apply big picture perspective to solving strategic and tactical problems
  • Ability to operate and make decisions independently
  • Partner with the Treasury Director to support Debt Compliance monitoring and reporting
  • Interact and collaborate with lead bank, Legal, and global businesses to ensure compliance, tracking, and planning
  • Responsible for controls, governance, and reporting over global bank accounts including management of authorized signers, banking mandates, and negotiation of bank agreements
  • Apply high level perspective and solid judgement in the development of governance and controls framework for new processes
  • Lead complex projects and cross functional assignments end to end, as needed
  • Support project team for transactions involving restructuring/mergers/acquisitions of entities in collaboration with Legal, IT and businesses
  • Responsible for the evaluation of process improvement and innovation opportunities for Treasury products and services
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and financial modeling as requested
  • Responsible for expense monitoring and management of Treasury bank services
  • Analyze and interpret financial and legal documents

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS


  • Accounting, Finance or equivalent Degree
  • 6-10 years Treasury Experience
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills
  • Understanding of GAAP and Accrual Accounting
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate and make decisions independently, while being part of a team
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under pressure

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS


  • Insurance or Financial Services Industry Experience
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets
  • CTP or MBA a plus
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Proven track record of process improvement and project management skills
