As a Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii, this is your chance to work on exciting and challenging large-scale transportation projects as part of a collaborative, experienced and diverse team. You’ll be a transportation engineer and project manager on large transportation projects in the State of Hawaii and will be responsible for leading project teams to pursue work, perform design engineering, and prepare documentation to satisfy the requirements for highway, bridge, transit, harbor and aviation transportation projects. You will also participate in the development of transportation planning studies and be responsible for communicating the results of engineering and transportation planning studies to clients and stakeholders. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to participate in business development initiatives, direct and mentor project staff, and manage external client relationships. The minimum qualifications for this position are:• A Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering
• A minimum of 10 years experience in the transportation engineering field
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Hawaii
• Demonstrated experience with HDOT, FHWA, FTA, Cities and/or Counties along with other local authorities and jurisdictions in Hawaii


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:• Transportation planning experience, including corridor and master planning for Hawaii agencies including HDOT, Cities and/or Counties, and the Transit Authority
• Masters degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering or transportation planning
