The Senior Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Senior Technology Leadership Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.Responsibilities

The Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with design engineering and test team to drive products from design to production release. Performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Ensures that production schedules are followed and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements. Interacts with product engineering, quality, and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to help resolve customers' product related problems/issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with Agile teams (integrated development and test team members) to drive products from design completion to production release. Performs validation of implement of various engineering practices and procedures to verify and validate product designs. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Ensures that production schedules are followed and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements. Interacts with software engineering, quality, business and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to help resolve customers' product related problems/issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

  • Lead the delivery activities within 5-6 working teams. Lead the release of Quarterly, Monthly, and offcycle releases to production.
  • Resolve issues with team and business partners.
  • Manage service desk for WTLS Consumer. Determine detailed tasks and activities. Assign work to teams.
  • Accumulate and provide periodic status, communication, and appropriate escalation.
  • Assist engineers with Domain or Technical knowledge gaps.
  • Ensure delivery timelines are being met.
  • Work with Product Owners and Architects to ensure understanding of deliverables as well as to offer input and guidance into solution approaches.
  • Work with managers, architects, business users, and team members to evaluate and provide team estimates for project and work requests.
  • Mentor individuals and teams, working with resource managers on potential coaching situations.
  • Advance the adoption of new techniques, tools, and processes to streamline delivery capabilities.
  • Audit and provide feedback to team members regarding standards adherence, design principles, and expected patterns of work.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of technical experience
  • Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel
  • Systems Design
  • Database / Repository Design
  • Programming / Software Development
  • Systems Integration
  • Modeling and modeling tools
  • Health care business or specifically Humana business
  • Modeling of services and interfaces
  • UML models as needed (class, sequence, and so on)
  • Agile, Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certified
  • Six Sigma Certified
  • MBA or other Advanced Degree
  • Demonstrated ability running large scale projects
  • Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight
