Sinch is growing fast, and we are now seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager – Operator Sales for Region Americas to drive and expand our successful business with Mobile Operators with special focus on our Operator Interconnect Portfolio.
The essence of the role
The Senior Technical Sales Manager acts as a subject matter expert for the Sinch Operator portfolio and is responsible for leading the technical sales domain in the Americas region. Together with the regional tech-sales team you will lead the technical engagement with our key customer accounts.
Specifically, you will be the technical sales domain expert for our Interconnect portfolio including, among others, the P2P SMS/MMS and IPX services. You will drive the pre-sales engagement, supporting and engaging in customer meetings, presentations, and workshops. For large customer bids, you will act as bid manager. For selected customers, you will handle the whole customer sales interaction from technical solution design and pricing to account management.
With our Key Customer Accounts, you will be responsible for the customer success, driving sales excellence and ensuring we provide world-class services to our key customers. As such you will be the key interface towards our customers from a technical / service delivery aspect where you will be supporting our internal service delivery / operational teams with customer expertise.
Responsibilities also include working closely with Sinch Operator Product Management and marketing in order to support product introductions, secure roadmaps and market messages.
The role collaborates closely with sales to plan and execute account strategies and externally by interacting with prospective customers through executive meetings, solution presentations, technical workshops and follow-up discussions.
In this role it will not only be important to understand but to provide insight (technical and values of offering) and to challenge the customer requirements. The key solution offerings which you will be responsible for within the Operator portfolio include the P2P SMS/MMS hubbing services and our IPX services with GPRS roaming exchange (GRX), MMX, GSMA-compliant Voice over IPX, and LTE roaming.
You will report to the Head of Operator Sales – Americas.
