We are seeking a new colleague to join our Chassis R&D team in Northville, MI!

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development of a project according to the requirements of the ZF modular system and the customer requirements according to the ZF GDPEP.

Responsible for implementing the project in the customer schedule according to the requirements, taking into account quality and costs

Coordination of a development team consisting of different development areas

Mechanical, E/E Hardware, Software, Safety, Function, Simulation and Validation

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) and 6+ years of relevant experience.

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorhsip now or in the future.

Proficient understanding of mechatronic systems, viewing features, and automated driving technology

High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult

Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals required

Problem Solving & Analytical Methods: DFSS, DFMEA and PFMEA
