The Senior TaxAccountant will report to the Global Tax Manager, but will also have the opportunity to work directly with the Tax Director and other members of the Tax Team.  This role will work primarily on federal and international tax matters (including tax provision), with the opportunity to assist the state tax team as needed.  In this capacity, the successful candidate will be a self-starter, driven, coachable and maintain a collaborative and team approach.


Time Allocation:

Federal Tax Compliance        (including 5471s + Canada)                           30%

ASC 740 (including US GAAP foreign provision assistance)                        25%

Transfer Price Support & Analysis                                                                20%

Global Tax Planning Support                                                                         15%

Other Miscellaneous Work/Projects                                                              10%



  • Review components of and support internal calculations of the worldwide USGAAPtax provision under ASC 740 and related guidance
  • Review components of and support internal calculations of the tax disclosures for financial statement reporting purposes
  • Assist with internal preparation of monthly and quarterly tax provision/ETR forecasts including estimated taxbalance sheet and estimated cash taxes
  • Assist with external auditfinancial statement and underlying workpaper review on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure continued quality and compliance with taxinternal control requirements under SOX 404
  • Reconcile taxbalance sheet accounts for tax activity, other changes, and to validate ending balances
  • Review components of and support internal preparation of federal income tax returns including preparation of 5471s, E&P/Tax Pool schedules, FTC, and R&D credit workpapers
  • Assist and support external advisors in the preparation of global Transfer Price documentation as well as monitor internal compliance and analysis of the transfer price methodologies
  • Assist with tax calendar management to ensure all deadlines are met with quality output in a timely fashion
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes
  • Other tasks and projects as necessary including audit prep and defense, cross-functional tax projects, tax research and analysis, FATCA compliance, etc.)



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a degree in finance or business administration with a strong emphasis in accounting or tax.  CPApreferred
  • Experience: combined 6+ years of experience in corporate and/or public tax accounting including experience in ASC 740 and Federal tax compliance
  • ONESOURCE Tax Provision experience a plus
  • ONESOURCE Income Taxexperience a plus
  • Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Professional, proactive, and collaborative nature
  • Outstanding organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple project demands with the appropriate sense of urgency, drive and energy.
