The Weapon System Integration Contract (WSIC) is searching for an Engineer is seeking engineering lead/support in the Integrated Task Team (ITT) Subgroup for the US Air Force (USAF) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) MK21 Reentry Vehicle (RV) Fuze Modernization This is a critical role for the successful development of the most advanced technology and sophisticated systems in the world and serves as a key member of a team that works closely with the Program Manager and technical leadership to develop technical solutions, technical/cost proposals, drive affordability, and lead system development and verification/validation to deliver on this critical program.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the Integrated Test Team in a broad range of activities to deliver and certify the Mk21 Replacement Fuze, flight testing, ground testing and associated activities
- Be accountable to the Program Manager for the ITT
- Serve as a technical point of contact for systems engineering with the customer, systems integrator, other segments, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Lead ITT engineering cost control accounts
- Support program planning including developing customer Statements of Work (SOWs), developing systems engineering plans and schedule, reviewing approved program plans and subcontract SOWs, and ensuring the integrated master schedule accurately integrates IPT schedules to support system level events, such as design reviews and verification events
- Support other LM division programs and activities
- Support the ITT Subgroup
- Manage calibration of Support Equipment
- Understand System Level anomalies and help Troubleshoot
- Ability to interpret telemetered signals from the ITB system
- Interface with subcontractor and their hardware
- Interface with SNL and their Hardware
- Ability to interpret test data and perform analysis of the data
- CAM work
Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- RSRV (Reentry System, Reentry Vehicle) system experience
- Motivated self-starter who works effectively under tight deadlines
- Testing experience within an Aerospace or similar environment
- Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Minuteman III RSRV (Reentry System, Reentry Vehicle) system experience
- Direct experience with NNSA (National Nuclear Security Administration and Sandia, Livermore, and Los Alamos National Laboratories
- Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) skills and experience leading employees to perform efficiently and develop relationships in a multi-functional team environment
- Familiarity with Weapon System Risk development and mitigation
- Experience with: Operational Flight Test Vehicle development, Aging/Hardness Surveillance, and failure analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication (including technical writing) with strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, communication, presentation and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated excellence in people and interpersonal relationship skills
- Experience working Reentry Vehicle, Reentry System, and associated Fuzes with AFGSC (Air Force Global Strike Command)
- Direct experience with NNSA Production Agencies
- Willing to travel to customer sites (SNL-NM, SNL-CA, VAFB, HAFB, VF, etc.)
- Top Secret clearance
