DESCRIPTION: Senior Systems Engineer - Stamford/Hartford Area - Remote Join one of the best kept secrets within Dell. Our North American Commercial Division is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to represent our Enterprise product line in the Connecticut area. Ideal candidate will be based in the Stamford/Hartford area. This role is Remote based. This position is a consultative selling role that represents our enterprise products such as PowerEdge Servers, our Hyper-convergedPortfolio, Our Mid-range storageportfolio and DellNetworking. RoleResponsibilities - Work with assigned fieldsales account executives and insidesales teams within oursales division to drive and grow the enterprise business within their specific customer account set - Work interdependently with account team members, but be very effective independently to grow the Commercial business -Responsible for discovering, identifying, qualifying and closing Enterprise Server, Storage andNetworkingtechnology solutions that we sell to our customers -Responsible for developing the strategic enterprisesales business plan for the team to execute successfully to grow the enterprise - Work with account team to identify the customer IT decision makers and key influencers within the agency in order to build trusting customer relationships that enable Dell to become primary partner of choice for enterprisetechnology solutions - Identify and overcome the technical barriersassociated with the customers IT decision making process with a focus on delivering solutions that meet/exceed the IT and Business requirements of our customers which often times are highly complex enterprise solutions, the SE is alsoresponsible for establishing and developing key relationships with S&P and services partners that allow the account team to offer comprehensive enterprise solutions for their diverse customer environments - In working to develop the solution for the customer, utilizing PowerEdge Servers, Dell EMC Mid-Range Storage, Dell Hyper-converged systems, Dell Professional Services, as well as products from Software/Hardware/Peripheral partners, the Data CenterSales Engineer serves as the technical lead in designing and architecting solutions that not only meet/exceed the IT and business goals, but also deliver outstanding customerexperiences

QUALIFICATION: Requirements - 5+years of relevantexperience or equivalent combination ofeducation and workexperience - Deep Technical Knowledge of Servertechnology, High Volume Workloads (SAP HANA),Networking, HPC clusters and Management Products - Ability to adjust presentation and verbal skills to the audience that is in attendance - Accurately forecast your business to management to include next steps, pipeline development, obstacles, and what isrequired to grow your business - Excellent Time Management skills - BSDegree orexperience equivalent - References who haveexperienced your excellence in the field Company Description With more than 100,000 team members globally, we promote an environment that is rooted in the entrepreneurial spirit in which the company was founded.
