-Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business/Management, Health Care Administration or related field required or an equivalent amount of related experience and education obtained that demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
-Four years of analysis or vendor provided software support experience or equivalent.
-Demonstrated written and oral communications and educational skills.
-Knowledge of computer programming practices. Ability to present design concepts and system functions in an understandable, logical and concise manner.
-Demonstrated project management skills to participate in multiple complex projects simultaneously and manage tasks.
-Lead or supervisory experience.
-Interpersonal skills necessary to conduct training classes and participate in meeting with departments supported.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships.
-Knowledge with report writing/programming tools (Meditech NPR, SQL, Microsoft (.Net, other) tools preferred.
-Knowledge of the principles of systems analysis and programming.
-Previous experience working in health care is highly desireable.
-Training and Education skills necessary to teach information Technology basic concepts and related courses in application usage.
-Familiar with the JCAHO survey process and the components within the regulations associated with Information Management.
Able to participate in any on call group which assigned.
-Must meet the physical requirements of the position, as outlined in the job description available through the Human Resources department.
