The Carelink CareNow IT team is currently recruiting for a Systems Analyst to provide exceptional service in support of our commitment to create innovative, effective and affordable systems of care that our neighbors value. We are searching for a highly motivated, knowledgeable professional with strong customer relationship/communication skills who is excited about a new healthcare delivery model. You will work alongside our Carelink Carenow partners in developing technical solutions in support of this goal.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, implement, and troubleshoot Aerial Care Management and other supporting applications utilized by and in support of Carelink CareNow such as Aerial Care Coordination, Twistle, and Cincom Eloquence.
  • Recommend and implement solutions in Aerial suite of software, working closely with team members and internal customers.
  • Create and maintain applications within an enterprise SQL Server environment. Proficient with Microsoft SQL, SQL Server Information Server (SSIS), Stored Procedures.
  • Log, monitor, document and resolve application software problems either directly or with the assistance of others (e.g., Infrastructure staff, other application staff, the vendor, etc.)
  • Analyze root cause trends for ways to prevent repeated system problems.
  • Provide clear and effective documentation for known procedures and issues for use by the entire team.
  • Follow and identify enhancements for operational standards and processes for the applications which ensure reliable system operation and with a goal of reducing manual interventions.
  • Self-directed learning style required, apply new learnings to identify system enhancements and process efficiencies.
  • Escalate as appropriate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, and end users.
  • This position will participate in 24/7 production on-call rotation. And follow departmental policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiarity with HL7, CCDA, EDI communications protocol and transaction formatting
  • Working knowledge of Unix command, shell scripting a plus
  • Understand ITSM framework for change and configuration management.
  • Must be a committed, enthusiastic team player, a self-starter with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Possess strong interpersonal communication skills. Must have the ability to work constructively with customers under adverse situations. Ability to handle difficult situations with people in meetings is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate technology to the customer so that they are comfortable with using it and perceive value in the service provided.
  • Must possess the ability to stay ahead of rapidly changing technologies and to interface the various system components in order to produce effective and efficient solutions.
  • Must be able to perform multiple work efforts simultaneously.
  • Strong problem solving skills and able to acquire a working knowledge of departmental operations are required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in a discipline related to the assigned area.
  • 4+ years of experience maintaining operational readiness for existing systems and/or new implementations required
  • Experience writing production quality SQL, PL/SQL, and Business Objects reports
  • Experience in the healthcare, ACO, or payer industry is preferred, but not mandatory
  • ITIL certification preferred.
