Alkermes is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with prior knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and Service Cloud. This role will perform administrative functions specific to Commercial and Patient Service team in Salesforce Service Cloud including activities such as maintaining user accounts, loading data, reports, resolving end-user technical issues, monitoring system performance and utilization.



  • Support customizations and configurations (Formulas, Workflows, Approval Processes, Custom objects and fields, Sharing rules, Page layouts, Record types, Permission Sets, Reports and Dashboards)
  • Establish new users and manage access levels
  • Document, build and manage reports using Salesforce reporting and Einstein Analytics
  • Build and manage Vault, CRM and Service Cloud integrations
  • Maintain standards and operational procedures for the support of SFDC and related technologies within the organization
  • Serve as a point of contact for audit and control requirements for SFDC (and related solutions) operations.  Ensures that agreed controls are followed for both production support and development activities
  • Document, manage and implement system change requests
  • Ensure Salesforce configuration supports business requirements
  • Validate results through system and regression testing
  • Develop a deep understanding of current business processes and their use of the platform
  • Participate in the development of processes for improving or further leveraging existing systems, mainly Salesforce
  • Assist in Administration of the Veeva Vault system


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.



  • 4 - 6 years working within the environment
  • Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud Environment
  • Experienced developer of Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Experience in biotech and pharmaceutical industry preferred

Technical Knowledge/Skills Needed:

  • Experience in biotech and pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SaaS technologies
  • Thorough understanding of the implementation and customizations of solutions
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce reporting and Einstein Analytics
  • Experience with Salesforce REST API integrations is a plus
  • Exposure to ETL tools like Informatica Cloud is a plus
