Position Summary: Responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's network, storage and server infrastructure.
Essential Functions: - Provide the support, maintenance and administration of computer network, infrastructure, and related computing environments, including multiple remote sites.
- Serves as the technical subject matter expert for planning, maintenance and resolution of issues related to on premises and/or hosted infrastructure.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems.
- Make recommendations and engineer systems when needed to ensure existing and future needs are met.
- Establishes appropriate monitoring mechanisms and works closely with internal and/or external teams to ensure security, reliability, and performance of the systems.
- Work closely with contractors, managed service providers, application and/or services vendors to ensure that the relevant systems are meeting appropriate uptimes, performance, and security requirements.
Position Requirements: - Associate degree or equivalent with 3+ years of related industry experience.
- At least 10 years of Systems Administration experience is Required.
- Advanced knowledge of;
- Microsoft Enterprise Solutions such as, Exchange, Active Directory. Windows Server, Desktop Operating Systems, etc.
- LAN/WAN networking in a hybrid environment (on premises and cloud provider)
- Group Policy design and configuration
- Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
- Demonstrated performance in support of organizational stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to define, analyze and document requirements.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree Required or Equivalent Experience
Physical Requirements: - Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate office equipment, and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
- Required to occasionally stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 10-pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: - Safety glasses are always required on the production floor.
- Hearing protection is required in designated areas.
- Occasionally subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electric current and exposure to heat and chemicals.
- Occasionally subject to conditions including one or more of the following that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, or poor ventilation.
- Occasionally exposed to cold, hot, wet and/or humid shop conditions.
