Functional Responsibilities:

ISYS Technologies is seeking a Senior Strategic Missile Warning Expert (SMW).

Job Duties:

  • Provide support for future and emerging requirements and upgrades
  • Technical advice to enhance the MWFMO understanding of user training requirements and of user feedback on the quality and usefulness of available training programs

  • Assist in planning efforts with Joint Staff, other Combatant Commands, Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and other organizations, to include the Intelligence Community
  • Assist in the MWFMO configuration management and change control oversight function by providing technical advice and assistance regarding proposed ITW/AA, TES, and SEW system modifications and fixes, with emphasis on incorporation of user requirements, compliance with the end-to-end architecture, and conformity to long-range development plans
  • Provide direct support to the configuration control boards through agenda development and shall provide assistance in arrangement of meeting times and locations, in distribution of meeting notifications to participants, in documentation and distribution of meeting minutes, and in the tracking of resultant action items
  • Provide direct coordination with representatives from the SEWS Program Office (SEWS PO), MDA, Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), Defense Information System Agency (DISA), JIAMDO, Integrated Broadcast System Support Office (IBSSO), JS, OSD, Secretary of the Air Force/International Affairs, Space and Missile Defense Command, U.S. Army Strategic Command, Naval Network Warfare Command, Intelligence Community, and Project West Wing
  • Assist in the review and coordination of approximately 150 staff packages annually, to include use of the Task Management Tool and preparation of hardcopy General Officer/Flag Officer coordination packages, as appropriate
  • Provide advisory and assistance support for ITW/AA architectures and operations in support of SMW
  • Participate in and support analysis of survivable thin line and endurable missions
  • Perform SBIRS performance analysis
  • Support SBIRS Survivable Endurable Evolution (S2E2) analysis
  • Analyze United States Nuclear Detonation Detection System (USNDS) performance

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • 12+ years' experience in missile warning policy and operations, to include strategic (SMW), theater (TMW), and shared early warning (SEW)
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with the other Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, SEWS PO, MDA, AFSPC, IBSSO, and DISA
  • 10 years' experience with SEWS Lab equipment, to include Tactical Receive Suite (TRS) radio and ENTR receivers; GCCS servers and clients; Radiant Mercury equipment with all current and developmental SEW rule sets; recording equipment including SEWD, Repeat, Processing and Display Subsystem – Migration, GCCS, and special software programs designed to receive and record J-Series messages; Air Defense System Integrator; Joint Tactical Terminal; and secure telephone equipment including STU III, STE, and Sectera
  • 5 years testing experience in both laboratory and field environment, related to missile warning architecture
  • Ability to brief groups ranging from 5 to 150 personnel, as well as senior leaders (GOFO/SES)
  • Ability to work seamlessly with the Missile Warning, Missile Defense, and SEWS partners
  • Proficiency in use and application of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in missile warning analysis including performing statistical analysis of foreign missile launches2+ years' experience in website development and maintenance skills, particularly in using MS SharePoint
  • 2+ years' experience in planning, coordinating, and hosting large meetings and conferences
  • 12+ years' experience in defense contracts management or defense program/project management and possess a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), or a level II or higher certification as a Department of Defense (including service level) Acquisition Professional – Program Management. Education and related experience in business management can substitute for up to 5 of the 12 years required experience
