Harris Corporation Space and Intelligence Systems has an opening for a Senior Specialist, Data Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.  

Essential Functions:

  • Provide advanced solutions to administration, integration and development of CM toolsets and supporting infrastructure
  • Provide administration and support to end users in developing and managing environments, and troubleshooting
  • Toolsets include IBM Rational Suites to include ClearQuest, ClearQuest Designer, ClearQuest Maintenance, ClearQuest User Administration, ClearCase, Crystal Reports, Tableau Server and Desktop Architecture creating dashboards and custom reports, JIRA and JIRA/Agile Software
  • Management of software baselines, including planning, identification, change management, status accounting, verification and audit
  • Creation and release of software builds and associated configuration documentation
  • Prepare CM Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for task orders and proposals
  • Lead configuration control boards to review and disposition software changes
  • Automate, maintain, and execute processes and procedures in support of routine administrative tasks
  • Assist in capacity planning and performance management of supported services/technologies
  • Define and maintain appropriate controls and documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and execute processes and procedures to ensure ongoing Disaster Recovery Readiness
  • Create documents, including design, test plans, User Guides, SOPs, work instructions
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Act as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders

 Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 6+ years of experience OR
  • Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 4+ years of experience OR
  • PhD in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2+ years of experience

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • An active DoD Top Secret secuirty clearance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain program access
  • Experience integrating, automating and administrating Configuration Management toolsets on multiple operating systems
  • Scripting/Programming languages in Perl, Visual Basic and Bash
  • CM Industry certification (CMPIC, NDIA, etc.)
  • Work experience in an Enterprise DevOps environment
  • Knowledge of: IBM/Rational Suite: ClearQuest, ClearCase, Atlassian Tools: JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, FishEye, Crucible, Bamboo, Software versioning and revision control tools: Git, Subversion
  • Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
