Senior Solutions Analyst

What you get to do:

  • Work directly with our diverse range of clients, from international development organizations to local governments to private companies with areas of focus in public health and treatment monitoring, food security, public infrastructure tracking and measuring social cohesion
  • Partner with solutions engineers to understand client needs and develop appropriate sampling methodologies and analysis plans
  • Design and analyze surveys for internal or external customers
  • Produce custom reports as needed, develop sampling frameworks,  and design dashboards for clients
  • Communicate analytics finding to clients
  • Collaborate with Data Science to design, implement, and analyze experiments to improve automated operations or data quality and design experiments to evaluate different task pricing strategies

Your background likely includes:

  • MS or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Psychology, Economics or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in performing analysis using a scientific programming language such as Python or R
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • Field experiments, experimental design, missing data or survey sampling
    • Causal inference on observational data including matching, propensity score stratification and quasi-experimental methods (instrumental variables or interrupted time series)
    • Survey design and sampling methodologies for temporal, spatial or spatio-temporal processes

Bonus points:

  • Experience working as a statistical consultant or with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Experience working with public health, epidemiologic or economic data
  • Experience with adaptive experimentation
  • Development of packages or tooling for sampling or experimental design in a scientific programming language such as R or python
  • Strong publication record in the survey, sampling, experimental design or observational studies spaces
