In this role, you must develop and apply deep expertise with all portfolio offerings, including SOLIDWORKS desktop products and 3DEXPERIENCE platform applications. As a SOLIDWORKS desktop expert, you will apply your mastery of CAD and multi-product workflows to drive growth of industry's most popular toolset today. As a 3DEXPERIENCE platform expert you will develop a significant knowledge base of brand new solutions and have the potential to massively impact adoption of cloud-based tools as we go in to tomorrow.

You will partner with sales counterparts to locate and seize opportunities by being prepared to promote our solutions at any venue or situation.

You must exhibit extraordinary skills within your CAD/CAE/PDM/PLM background, and you must be able to apply that expertise for any purpose across the buyer's journey.

What will your role be?

As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will apply your immense product and industry expertise, creativity, and professional skills to support all arms of Dassault Systemes' Professional Solutions channel in North America (NAM). This includes direct- and direct-led engagements with our largest accounts, as well as working intimately with our NAM channel partners (VARs) to drive customer acquisition, growth, and retention at high volume.

On the Strategic Accounts Team, you will partner with global and strategic account managers in a variety of B2B engagements, utilizing your experience and expertise to influence and become a trusted advisor to varied value levels (from users to executives) as well as key stakeholders. This will include leading complex prospect engagements (discovery / process assessment, demonstration, benchmarks, pilot projects) as well as nurturing and growing existing customers (technology days, user groups, cross-selling and up-selling). B.S. or M.S./M.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar degree.

Your Key Success Factors

5-10+ years experience in a technical sales or services role for CAD/CAE/PDM/PLM software, with at least 2-5 years acting in a pre-sales focused role.

Exceedingly strong and demonstrable expertise with mainstream CAD platforms such as SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, Inventor, Fusion, Creo, NX, SolidEdge, and similar.

In-depth knowledge of typical product design, development, and engineering business processes across multiple industries; ability to demonstrate a multi-product portfolio across a business process.

Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)

Ability to travel up to 25-35% of work month

History of outstanding live presentation skills for a wide variety of audiences (customers, prospects, peers, leadership), situations (pre-sales demonstrations, user group best practices, training classes), and sizes of groups

Working knowledge of project management and experience leading moderately complex projects

History of working collaboratively on creative projects with peers and cross-functional stakeholders Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated record of taking ownership in the context of business growth and change

Sales process training

Digital production experience (videography, script writing, graphics production, video editing) highly desired

Strong social media knowledge and presence encouraged.
