We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect - Desktop and Service Desk for our MIS Group in our Dallas, TX location.

The applicant will have established a high degree of professionalism in their specialist fields, encompassing and focused on both End User Services and Service Desk. The role based in Fujitsu’s Richardson Texas offices and candidates must be willing to travel an average of 40% of their time within North America, with occasional global travel.

Applicants should have a successful track record of delivery, and broad understanding of technology and how it is applied. Responsible for complex projects which involve solutions which require an element of integration migration, creation of innovative solutions and management of risk through appropriate re-use. Confidently able to deal with key customer decisions makers such as IT Directors, program managers and partners. Applicants will exhibit visionary leadership and is able to co-ordinate their own workload and small teams.
Role Purpose

The specification and design of information systems to meet defined business needs in any public or private context.
The identification of concepts and their translation into implementable design. The design or selection of components.
The retention of compatibility with enterprise and solution architectures, and the adherence to corporate standards within constraints of cost, security and sustainability.
Articulating the architectural vision, conceptualizing and developing alternative approaches and validating such approaches against requirements and assumptions.
Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs.
Delivers technical visualization of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers.
Translates logical designs into physical designs, and produces detailed design documentation.
Maps work to user specification and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes.
The role holder may manage a small/medium design team. They are a competent design authority on larger or more complex solutions, demonstrating an understanding of the customers’ business and commercial issues. They identify, design and deliver larger or more complex architectures, strategies and specific solutions.
