Work on some of the most complex challenges in healthcare by utilizing your skills in data structures, systems knowledge, algorithms, and object oriented programming.  As a software engineer/developer at Philips, you are the bridge between abstract concepts and the technology products used daily to touch the lives millions of other people around the world.

You are responsible for

  • Plan and create functional, integration and end-to-end test cases for HIPAA complaint platform services deployed in the cloud
  • Work closely with the Product to understand how customers use the services and come up with Testing Strategy
  • Create and update automated test tools to meet platform needs with regards to functionality, performance, scalability and security
  • Execute tests and generate test reports as part of each sprint and release
  • Be the quality evangelist in the agile teams that develops complex platform services including IoT and Big data
  • Understand the various customer usage patterns and test the platform service APIs using comprehensive test data
  • Troubleshoot integration and production issues in cloud platform services
  • Work collaboratively in an SAFe Agile/Scrum teams

You are a part of

You will be part of a Health Suite Cloud Platform team to build next generation cloud services/API, powerful new tools, ensure the best product quality, and develop a deep understanding of user needs and product requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Testing (Functional, white box and performance testing)
  • Strong experience in testing Cloud based micro services with REST APIs
  • Strong experience in testing REST based APIs with SOAPUI (Should be able to quickly ramp up on existing scripts and develop new tests)
  • Knowledge in JavaScript(NodeJS) and testing frameworks like Mocha, chai, cucumber etc.
  • Strong Knowledge in Python and otherscriptinglanguages
  • Understand and improve quality metrics
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

Nice to have:

  • Healthcare domain knowledge with experience in HL7 and FHIR
  • Experience in testing healthcare applications and knowledge of regulations like FDA, HIPAA and IHE
  • Knowledge of Java, PostgreSQL, AWS, Cloud Foundry
  • Performance testing with tools like JMeter
