Senior Software Project Lead

Summary of Job Description:

This position contributes to project objectives by managing the work of a software development team (e.g., software developers, software testers, and business analysts) and working closely with internal business stakeholders.

Position Requirements:

  • Coordinate development and testing activities for one or more projects using agile/iterative methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Drive estimation activities with the team to establish scope and timelines for the projects.
  • Identify and manage risks to projects and products.
  • Track and report project status and metrics to the various stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects comply with bioMérieux processes/procedures and project management best practices.

Typical experience, skills and qualifications:

  • A BS in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software development and/or project management experience; project management certification is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience leading iterative development projects (Agile, Scrum, TDD, etc.)
  • Prior experience in software development preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated environment as a member of a product-development organization (medical device or biotech industry) is a plus.
