What you'll do

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Create, develop, and execute Test Plans and test cases for the feature to be released in the current sprints for testing eCommerce Platforms. Automate the current test cases for Desktop and Mobile Web for current and previous releases using Javascript and NodeJs and maintain the test repository in Github. Create bugs for the features in JIRA and track the life cycle of each issue in JIRA until completion. Maintain daily execution of the test runs in Jenkins. Perform hands-on manual testing of the application for validating critical features before automating them. Work closely with developers to fix the issues for the eCommerce Application, and achieve a sufficient level of code coverage. Gather and analyze testing requirements based on the product requirements and engage in the test efforts across the board. Act as a technical lead for the quality assurance testing for large-scale, eCommerce web applications, tools or mobile platforms and/or software.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of automation testing experience.

Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of Java, Selenium, and Javascript for hands-on Automation of the test cases. Experience with working in an Agile environment. Experience with Jenkins for Continuous Integration for process improvement. Experience with Source Code management tool Github. Demonstrated knowledge of Deployment tools including Oneops and Looper. Experience with Test Tracking tools including JIRA and Confluence. Experience with Web Applications. Experience with frameworks including TestNG and Junit.
