Exodus is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to secure, automate, and increase reliability and availability of our build and release process. We need someone to work remotely and also in our local office in Lincoln, Nebraska.

What You Will Do

Identify bottlenecks and security gaps in our current build and deploy process.
Solve these issues by designing secure and programmatic tooling and processes.
Communicate those changes to cross-functional stakeholders.
Make sure our production Desktop and Mobile wallets are built in a provably secure and deterministic manner and happen as a side-effect of the software development lifecycle.
Reduce the need for human intervention in our build and release process.
Ensure that we are able to make and measure ongoing release improvements for production, Desktop and Mobile releases.

Who You Are

You’ve designed secure build pipelines in the past and are familiar with GitHub and related CD tooling, such as GitHub actions, TravisCI, CircleCI.
You have a passion for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and a demonstrated ability to solve problems.
You are very security focused and have a strong interest in designing secure systems.
You have strong JavaScript experience, specifically with Node.js.
You are an excellent communicator.

About Exodus

Exodus Communications was an Internet hosting service and Internet service provider to dot-com businesses. Along with many of its customers, Exodus experienced the bursting of the dot-com bubble, and declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2001. Exodus was purchased by Cable and Wireless. Exodus acquired American Information Systems, Cohesive, Arca Systems, and Network-1's professional services division. In December 1999, Exodus headed by Ellen Hancock CEO acquired Global OnLine Japan, Japan's first ISP, launched in 1994 by a Canadian entrepreneur, Roger J. Boisvert together with his wife, Yuriko Hiraguri. Exodus opened its Tokyo IDC in April 2000 together with Nomura Research Institute. In January 2003, Cable and Wireless Japan sold Global OnLine Japan to Japanese VoIP operator Fusion Communications, merging its existing consumer Internet and VoIP efforts to create Fusion Network Services. The Fusion group was later acquired by Rakuten Group. In March 2004, Cable and Wireless America, including the Exodus assets, were acquired by SAVVIS. Cable and Wireless Japan sold its IDC operations to the SoftBank Group in February 2005.
