We are a fast growing v1 product (public release in June) tasked with the vision to make it simple & intuitive for enterprise customers to build, manage and deploy customer service bots and monitor bot performance without needing to rely on developers or AI experts - a multi-billion dollar opportunity for Microsoft. We're hiring experienced software engineers to build a brand new Virtual Agent SaaS service. You'll be part of a fast growing team to help build out product capabilities and will own features end to end. Your responsibilities will include working with the Science teams to build and integrate Natural Language Processing and AI capabilities for the core virtual agent conversational runtime.
You will provide technical leadership to junior developers to help develop the necessary components, libraries and core services to support building great conversational experiences. You will work closely with engineering and PM team members to define and scope various features of the product.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
