Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional to join their enterprise IT team in the role of Senior Software Engineer, at one of their West Coat locations, in the Los Angeles, CA area. The chosen candidate will provide baseband software development for High Precision GNSS Receivers, including, Acquisition, Tracking and Measurement generation for GNSS signals, Satellite Navigation Data demodulation and processing. 



*Resolve problems and issues (i.e. multipath, cycle-slip mitigation/detection, data coding & decoding)

* Debug real-time software

* Provide software defect resolution.

Bachelor?s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Geomatics and/or an MSDegree in a like or similar technical discipline or equivalent professional experience is required.

3 - 5years of experience in baseband signal processing (GNSS signals preferred)

3 or more years of experience developing and implementing real-time GNSS signal processing algorithms related to satellite signal acquisition, tracking and measurement generation is required.

Embedded C/C++ programming for real-time target experience is required.

Experience or understanding of baseband subject matter (i.e. multipath, tracking loop designs, semi-codeless tracking)

Experience with multiple constellations including GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Compass is required.

Experience with GNSS Navigation Data, coding theory, Almanac and/or Ephemeris data is required.

Understanding of RF/Digital sections of GNSS receivers is required.

Understanding of high precision navigation concepts (i.e. Real-Time-Kinematic (RTK) or other Differential Navigation) is preferred.

Experience using software source control tools (Microsoft TFS, etc.) is required.

Ability to take a proactive, problem-solving/trouble-shooting approach to identifying and solving problems

Strong communications skills (i.e. verbal, written and interpersonal) are required.

Ability and experience working in a highly matrixed organizational structure within a diverse culture is preferred.

Experience with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.) is preferred.
