As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for working closely with developers to implement automation and agile quality practices that comply with regulatory requirements. You will have the opportunity to bridge between agile software development and regulatory compliance activities by automation. As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will:

  • Develop automation frameworks and tools for regression and acceptance testing.
  • Enable developers with the tools and frameworks to fully own quality end-to-end.
  • Be a strong proponent of agile quality practices, automation, and a continuous integration and deployment methodology.
  • Work alongside developers in an agile environment.
  • Work with developers to develop, document, and execute test cases.
  • Be a trusted partner to the Regulatory team.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Quality, Laboratory, and cross-functional departments to gather and implement regulatory and operational requirements for automation frameworks.

Required Background:

  • 8+ years software industry experience in the Software Testing field.
  • Strong, working knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Golang, etc.).
  • Experience with web front-end technologies.
  • Proven experience with continuous integration/deployment platforms (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GoCD, etc.).
  • Strong experience with agile methodologies and automation-first engineering practices.
  • In-depth experience with automated testing frameworks of all kinds (e.g., xUnit, Cucumber, Gingko, Selenium, JMeter, Locust, etc.).
  • In-depth experience with cloud-native, microservice-based, software architectures.
  • BA or BS degree; advanced degree optional

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as CLIA, CAP, 21 CFR Part 11 and 21 CFR 820, and 21 CFR 820.70.
