As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Evangelize and cultivate adoption of Analytics Platform, open source software and Dev Ops principles within the organization
  • Ensure solutions are designed and developed using a scalable, highly resilient cloud native architecture
  • Participate in the utilization of a fully automated self-service platform in AWS that could also work in a hybrid cloud environment
  • Ensure product and technical features are delivered to spec and on-time
  • Develop tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for the technology foundation of our platform
  • Build CoE for Data Platform and evangelize best practices, standards, financial chargeback models
  • Lead next generation big data analytics platform in the cloud, with emphasis on automation and scale
  • Be a key contributor to overall architecture, framework and design of Data & Analytics Platform


  •      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant subject area
  • 2 years' additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of experience with large-scale data engineering with emphasis on data analytics and reporting
  • Strong experience with SQL and Relational database engineering (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata)— expert-level SQL abilities
  • Experience developing with scripting languages such as Shell and Python
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies in a fast-paced complex environment – Scrum, SAFe, Extreme Programming
  • Strong ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to partner with business and technology team members, to understand business requirements and translate those into value-add technology solutions
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background investigation
  • Experience with participating in projects in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment
  • Experience building solutions with data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Cognos)
