SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Senior Software Developer II is an experienced member of the IT
Development team performing software development.
-Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
-Master’s degrees in Engineering disciplines or related fields who have gained sufficient mastery of
information technology principles through coursework, internships, experience, or a combination
of those, are acceptable.
-3 to 5 years of software development experience with ability to conceptualize, plan and build
software to solve complex problems.
-3 to 5 years of strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design skills using following technologies
ReactJS, D3.js, TypeScript, jQuery, CSS
-Database: SQL Server 2012 or later, SSIS, MS Access, Entity Framework, Dapper
-IDE, Tools: Visual Studio 2012 or later, Team Foundation Server 2012 or later
-Windows Server 2012 or later
-Proficient in Microsoft technology stack
-Strong understanding of SOLID Principles
-Proficient in version control and source code management (e.g. Team Foundation Server, GitHub)
-The candidate must be able to work independently and communicate clearly with those who do
not specialize in IT.
-Experience with Third Party development tools such as DevExpress, FusionCharts, Dundas Charts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able

-Understands and completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug
verification and resolution.
-Communicate with users, other technical teams and senior management to collect requirements,
describe software product features, technical designs and product strategy
-Participate in group discussions by clearly expressing thoughts and ideas
-Configure and maintain build and versioning server for Continuous Deployment and Integration of
-Performing code reviews with other developers
-Develop and code unit tests and other automated testing solutions.
-Research and development of new processes, procedures, and technologies that impact business operations
-Design databases schemas while working closely with Data Analysts
-Develop and implement strategies to build web applications with interactive dashboards.
-Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
-Implement security measures to safeguard databases and APIs
-Provide troubleshooting and debugging support when issues arise in production environment. .
