Duties, Responsibilities, and Career Growth

    • The Senior Developer will:
    • Build out big and performant Drupal 8 based content sites using best practices.
    • Create custom modules and plugins for Drupal.
    • Write automated tests. Bonus points for using BEHAT.
    • Work directly with clients and have clear, productive conversations with them.
    • Have empathy for our clients. You'll be delivering top notch work by understanding who they are, and what would best serve them.
    • Work in source control systems (usually Git) effectively.
    • Be productive without a ton of oversight.
    • Communicate in person, over email, chats, or conference calls.
    • Admit when they don't know something, but then strive to find the best answer.
    • Work with cross functional teams and communicate effectively with designers and project managers, as well as other developers.
    • Aspire to greatness.
    • A Successful Senior Developer will:
    • Have led a team building a complex Drupal website before.
    • Have contributed to the Drupal community at large and can show us a Drupal Community profile.
    • Understand how to build a front-end to a Drupal site using a modern JavaScript library like React or Angular.
    • Have worked with Acquia and/or Pantheon to develop, deploy, and maintain a Drupal website.


    • There is not a cutoff number on the years of experience, but an average candidate will have at least 7 years of general web development experience and several with Drupal. 
    • A degree from a university is cool, but not mandatory.
