Responsible for coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard databases for eClinicalWorks EMR products and will prepare reports used by management for analysis of day-to-day operations in category management.
Will analyze the Explain Plans for performance improvements and work with business team to validate report functionality and data accuracy. Will be required to design logical and physical databases in Oracle and design and develop the data extract, transform, and load (ETL). Will also perform requirement analysis, design, and development of data model for our EMR products.
In addition she will;
Approve schedule plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems, such as the installation of new databases; Implement database strategies and solutions and provides database support for software development/applications for eClinicalWorks EMR implementation;
Is an integral part of the technical and clinical team in developing database strategies for eClinicalWorks EMR implementation; Train users and answer questions and specify users and user access for each segment of database; Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project; Select and enter codes to monitor database performance and to create production database;
Installs and upgrade server software and install/configure Database Management System (DBMS); Troubleshoots system environments and manage technical action logs to resolve bubs/issues with Database Management System (DBMS) software and provide outage resolution support; monitor for recurring database issues, and maintain database to ensure data integrity; Maintains a technical level of knowledge for all supported systems; This includes expertise in utilities, operating systems, and system management;
Manage, monitor and troubleshoots servers running eClinicalworks EMR software; Apply database best practices, including troubleshooting skills and experience to insure that Enterprise data is available to systems and customers at all times; Develops necessary patches to effect database changes and requirements; This includes analysis, design, coding, testing, implementing, training and documentation as needed to complete the request;
This will also include changes for projects being worked on by other staff members; Will diagnose problems within a database by using the resources and tools available and properly document changes to the system for change management.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering MIS, Information Management Systems or related field plus five (5) years of experience in Software Industry.
