American ExpressTravel Related Services seeks Senior SD Analysts to analyze and resolve issues with software components, verify remediation of code defects, and provide technical guidance to business and technical teams. Provide production and service support, with an emphasis on defined services and applications. Work with business and technical teams to ensure best practices are implemented in areas of preventative maintenance. Ensure SLAs for platforms and capabilities are maintained, and ensure high availability of platforms on different operating systems. Provide business process and technical guidance during preventative maintenance and issue resolution measure implementation. Assist with implementation of remedies and preventative measures, and service and performance-related activities. Communicate status of incidents, preventative solutions, and resolutions to senior leadership.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsibleexperience with developing, delivering, and supporting high availability applications in an Agile environment. Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience with Managed File Transfer products and services; 1 year of experience with Java and objected-oriented analysis and design; 1 year of experience with enterprise applications and Linux operating systems, including Shell scripting; 1 year of experience with performing reengineering and resolving incidents on an enterprise level; 1 year of experience with the operation, administration, and configuration of application and web servers, including Websphere, JBoss, Apache, and Tomcat; 1 year of experience with continuous integration and delivery, including Jenkins; and 1 year of experience with DB2, ITIL methodology, HTML, J2EE, JMS, JSON, Messaging MQ, Oracle, REST XML, ServiceNow, Solace, Spring, Splunk, SQL Server, and Web Services technologies.
