Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking technical support staff with capabilities to help build an emerging program that will explore the use of cellular engineering to provide augmented performance, tissue regeneration, and resilience to infectious disease.
Requirements
Candidates must have or be able to obtain a minimum secret clearance.
Candidates must have a PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, biomedical engineering, or other relevant field; postdoctoral or equivalent industry experience and/or significant years (4+) of laboratory experience in understanding synthetic eukaryotic cellular engineering, synthetic biology, genetic analysis, epigenetics, metabolomics, and phenotype-genotype relationships is preferred.
Experience in engineering or modifying T-cell, natural killer cell, or other cell types in clinical/animal studies, especially in the context of treating infectious disease or encouraging tissue regeneration is highly desired.
Ideal candidates would have a deep knowledge of emerging trends in cellular engineering and knowledge or experience in designing vectors or transfection systems that are compatible with FDA regulatory compliance.
Excellent verbal and written skills as well as an ability to digest and understand new research subjects (as needed) to support the mission, is required.
Finally, the position will require interaction with cellular engineering leaders in both industry and academia. Candidates with active security clearances sufficient to allow unsupervised entrance and work within the DARPA facility are preferred.
