  • Develop baseline schedules that meet the requirement of the contract and Flatiron best practices
  • Maintain the schedule for assigned projects; identify and record progress, highlighting impacts to the base line schedule. 
  • Interface with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems
  • Contribute to the development of bid / proposal schedules for Estimating, which sufficiently illustrate the contract requirements, sequence of work activities, and contract time
  • Incorporate Resource and/or Cost Loading data into schedules as required
  • Serve as technical advisor for the solution of difficult production problems
  • Consult the appropriate project team members and estimating procedures as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work
  • Provide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule
  • Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity
  • Understand all contract requirements relating to the project schedule
  • Prepare schedule updates along with a narrative for submission to the owner
  • Prepare time impact analysis schedules & assist in claim preparation 
  • Prepare weekly look ahead schedules and communicate to project team
  • Maintains knowledge of Flatiron’s company values and strategic plan
  • Provide monthly status reports to Western Division Scheduling Manager on all assigned projects
  • Perform additional assignments per management’s direction


  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution and 10 years construction scheduling experience
  • Experience working as Scheduling Manager on projects in excess of $300m
  • Previous experience as a project lead or supervisor
  • Previous experience scheduling for heavy civil construction projects is required
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
