Senior Sales RepresentativeKings Dominion has an immediate opening for the position Senior Sales Representative inDoswell, Virginia. This full time position will report to the Sales Director

.JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Sales Representative is responsible for developing, managing, and increasing sales within assigned geographic territory as well as Kings Dominion’s major "In-House" accounts. The Senior Sales Representative will also serve as the functional leader for the 2 territory sales reps which report to this position.


?Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or other related field.

?Minimum 5-7years of experiencein Marketing, Sales, Theme Park, Entertainment, Hospitality or Travel Industryor other related field

?Demonstrated ability to work in an independent environment with minimum supervision and deliver against set goals.

?Strong time and project management skills and experience.

?Advanced written and oral communication skills, experience in public presentations, superior spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

?Ability to work nights and weekends as required by business and account demands.

?Proficient in basic business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable with learning new software.

?Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy.

?Strong, instinctive work ethic.


?Develops, manages, and sells to new and existing accounts within a very critical and competitive geographic territory or business segment through in-person sales and service calls, ensuring both parks meet or exceed established goals. Manages territory/segment by spending a minimum of 60% of time soliciting sales at customers' or potential customers' places of business.

?Establish and maintain rapport with clients and potential clients. Follow up with clients after client outingsensuring client satisfaction on all levels. Respond to inquiries regarding sales and events from customers and potential customers in a timely manner. Respond to client complaints in a timely manner andproactively with issues for resolution. Assist in maintaining up-to-date and accurate client information.

?Oversee The Norfolk and North Carolina Sales Regions, working in conjunction with the sale rep to identify new opportunities and to provide support and training to help develop the regions.

?Oversee house account clients such as Entertainment Benefits group and others that may apply.

?Track and analyze sales data and report changes and trends to Sales Director CRM lead for sales activity on a weekly basis.

?Interact and communicate positively and successfully with various groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, other park managers, co-workers, other park employees, clients/potential clients, vendors and the general public. Participate in sales training and professional development sessions as required.

?Adheres to and enforces all park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to guestservice in all aspects of employment.
