Senior Sales Director of Bankruptcy Solutions

LOCATION: National Remote 

Job Description:

This position oversees a small national team of Sales Directors and insides sales support to assure that the company maintains its strong market presence resulting in continuous client and revenue growth. This position also will oversee sales expansion into new verticals and markets to support the company’s aggressive growth plan and expanding service suite, as well as coordinate opportunities for sales among businesses within the Epiq family of companies. This is a highly collaborative role that will interact with Client Services, Product and Operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • In consultation with the Managing Director, leads the sales team and manages execution across sales tasks
  • Continual salesprocess improvement planning and execution, as well as ongoing staff development and sales training
  • Systematically and strategically business plans, with tactical development, by segment, product and service, and client to drive new client penetration and increased wallet share of existing clients, and guides and manages sales team members to do the same
  • Systematically researches and develops prospects, guides and manages sales team members to do the same, and engages the team in pipelining activities aligned to short and long termrevenue and financial goals
  • Effectively builds market position in existing and new markets, resulting in positive and increasing market share
  • Collaborates with Client Services, Operations and Product to continually contribute to efforts to help enhance service quality standards to meet and/or exceed client expectations and develop and deploy new product and services and features
  • Fosters a team environment and builds cooperation within AACER and the larger Epiq family
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating department staff
  • Responsible for budget preparation and recommendation, and maintenance
  • Establishes programs to ensure that department staff members are well trained and supported 
  • Required Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Management and leadership experience with over 5 years of experience in legal or bankruptcy sales solutions or business function
  • Prior experience managing a sales team with direct client/customercontact in a professional environment, preferably in a service industry
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business or a closely related field of study is required; however, candidates with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or similar will be strongly preferred in the selection process
  • Oral and written communication skills which provide a strong and confident executive presence
  • Have the technical background to interface effectively with client services, product and operations departments
  • Have the ability to telescope approaches from taking a strategic view, to managing day-to-day services, to paying attention to details of individual job execution
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and possess the analytical skills to perform cost/benefit analysis and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Out of State travelrequired
