Position Summary





As a Senior Roadway Design Engineer, you will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and have the opportunity to utilize your roadway design expertise to lead transportation-related projects. Working with other members of the team, you will use your technical experience, coordinate with multi-discipline team members, and mentor and direct junior staff. Qualifications


� Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering

� A minimum 10 years experience in roadway design and geometrics, roadway drainage, as well as familiarity with Alaska DOT, AASHTO and MUTCD standards

� PE in the state of Alaska


The ideal candidate should possess and can demonstrate some of the following skills and knowledge:


� Prior experience on local, state and/or federal projects

� Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design Software (MicroStation Inroads and AutoCAD Civil 3D)

� Design leadership on complex multi-disciplined projects
