NETGEAR Canada is looking for a Senior RF Engineer with a strong interest and knowledge in wireless data communication hardware development, as well as mmWave experience. As a part of the RF-Hardware team, you will lead the design and architecture planning on prototype to mass production life cycle development. Radio topics typical to both mobile handsets and fixed routers will be involved – small form-factor antenna integration, MIMO antenna design techniques for LTE/WIFI and 5G (mmWave), and design for noise migitation/self-desense. There is a strong component of ‘5G’ mmWave design for 30-60GHz beamforming antenna arrays for us in small, handset-style applications.
Plan and designRFarchitecture/topologies based on 4G/5G and WIFI technologies.
Specify and source 5G mmWave test equipment and test methodologies.
Research antenna topologies and chipset offerings for 5G mmWave products.
Guide development partners for verification and mass production.
Experience with wireless products (2G/3G/4G/ LTE) is a strong asset.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Software development, programming and/or scriptingexperience is preferred.
BS/MSdegree and/or equivalent work experience.
