Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate with the Director of Accounting Policy to understand the revenue recognition policy associated with governmental and non-governmental contracts
- Support external auditor, SOX, and other requests, as needed
- Create, review, post and analyze general ledger journal entries for revenue activities
- Partner with the R&D Expense team and Financial Planning and Analysis team to understand the extent of qualifying costs and expenditures that need to be billed and recognized
- Review customer and supply chain contracts to understand the nature of arrangements, the funding sources that cover certain costs, and the timing for which invoices need to be raised.
- Review and prepare monthly account and sub-ledger reconciliations; identify and investigate discrepancies
- Oversee the day-to-day revenue
- Manage the issuance of invoices in accordance with contractual requirements accounting process to ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue associated with the Company's governmental and non-governmental contracts
- Work cross-functionally with Program Managers and other internal departments to understand contracts, programs, and services to support estimates and accruals
- Assist in budget and forecasting processes, as needed
- Participate in the preparation of schedules to support SEC disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K and other SEC filings

Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Accounting
- Minimum 8+ years' experience related to accounting
- Biotech, manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience
- Understanding of revenue recognition under government contracts and grant agreements is a plus
- Proficiency with large-size accounting software. SAP accounting system experience a plus
- CPA preferred
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
- Experience applying ASC606 principles
