Job Description

The Senior Reports Analyst acts as a technical lead for junior members of the reporting team, as well as generating reports to customer specifications, and working with the manager to assist in allocating resources and managing the work flow. The position communicates regularly with customers as well as the development team as needed. The Senior Reporting Analyst will be responsible for extensive troubleshooting, researching and testing in order to diagnose reporting issues that may impact customer delivery. 

Essential Job Functions

Build reports and dashboards via Fusion Report Writer, to meet customer specifications and expectations

Build custom, managed reports using the Logi Dev Studio tool

Be a subject matter expert and act as a resource for internal and external customers

Knowledge of the Fusion product and industry standards and processes, and how all relate to the customers’ business goals

Assist in facilitating the quote process

Assist the manager in prioritizing the order in which customer issues are worked

Be able to step in and assist any team member

Recognize when a customer needs extra attention or should be moved to an escalated status

Make recommendations regarding policies and departmental position responsibilities


Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience with a reports development package is required

Expertise with Fusion Report Writer and Logi Dev Studio a plus

Ability to analyze internal processes and make any recommendations to increase quality and efficiency

Extensive understanding and working knowledge of Fusion

In-depth understanding of the software

Ability to speak to theory and not just the application

Must know how to use the software for its intended purpose as well as knowledge of the trucking industry

Strong relationships throughout the company in order to move the team and our customers forward

Ability to handle difficult situations with customers and members of the team

Unquestionable commitment to customer service and the team – empathy for the customer and the team supporting the customer and product

Excellent problem solving skills

5 to 8 years of related experience
