Spirent is looking for an experienced and aggressive sales professional to position and drive the growth our unique VisionWorks Lifecycle Service Assurance platform at Verizon. Joining Spirent's Verizon account team will allow you the opportunity to support the evolution of one of the world's most innovative service providers as they evolve their industry leading network. Spirent's focus on Network DevOps and Automation fits perfectly with Verizon's network and process transformation, and we need an individual capable of articulating the business value of VisionWorks across multiple levels of decision-makers at Verizon.

Responsibilities

  • Directly Manage and Close opportunities at Verizon, Selling SA into Wireless and Wireline Networks Operations

  • Develop and execute the strategy to win, building business cases/RoI to tie our solutions to customer requirements.

  • Positioning solutions in a DevOps environment, having a command of the lab/live connection.

  • Staying current on account and market milestones and priorities, and positioning solutions accordingly.

  • Developing multithreaded sales plans.

  • Managing multiple sales development opportunities simultaneously.

  • Building strong relationships from engineering to executive level.

  • Working and delegating with internal partners -- Engineering, Product Mgmt, Product Marketing -- to develop successful business strategies.

  • Creating and Delivering compelling internal and customer presentations.

  • Hunt and develop new business outside of the existing Verizon user groups.

  • Accurately forecast the business on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Monitor and support issue resolution working with Spirent's support team.

  • Interface with the entire Spirent Verizon account team to share and assist your peers with information you learn from your interactions with Verizon.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years selling Network Operations Service Assurance solutions in Tier 1/2 Service Providers (ideally including Verizon).

  • BS Engineering.

  • Understanding of Wireless and Wireline Network Technologies.

  • Understanding of Virtualization and Cloud Technologies.

  • Selling Service Assurance into Wireless and Wireline Networks Operations.

  • Experience in the DevOPs, CICD processes.

  • Utilizes professional sales techniques.

  • Demonstrated track record of superior sales results.

  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to develop innovative solutions that solve customer issues and have a short-term ROI for the customer.

  • Well organized - able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Good problem-solving skills - able to quickly formulate appropriate responses to questions.
