The Senior Manager, Recruiting is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating the organizations recruitment efforts to fill job vacancies, allow new employees to integrate into the firm and that candidates selected best match the needs of the business. The Senior Manager, Recruiting develops recruiting policies and procedures to ensure the process is conducted efficiently and economically in accordance with organization strategy.

Lead and Oversee Recruiting Process for a Large Geographic Area

  • Collaborate with firm leadership to manage the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to meet staffing needs
  • Manage and conduct full-life cycle recruiting for experienced hires
  • Manage and prepare recruitment advertising & postings that utilizes the latest recruitment marketing concepts including search engine optimization
  • Oversee pre-employment process including screening of candidates and checking references
  • Prepare employment offers and relocations packages
  • Oversee effective utilization of the applicant tracking system
  • Compile and analyze metrics associated with the recruiting process in order to make strategic and tactical decisions

Select and Manage Relationships with Recruiting Agencies and Vendors

  • Ensure effective utilization of outside staffing firms and job boards

Provide Leadership and Oversight to Department Staff

  • Direct, evaluate and develop recruiting staff


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8-10 years of related experience required
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or management capacity overseeing Recruitment and / or Talent Acquisition activities
  • Ability to provide strategic leadership and guidance to staff
  • Expansive knowledge of recruitment lifecycle and strategic workforce planning
  • Knowledge of human resources rules and regulations, including federal and state employment laws and personnel administration
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to develop creative solutions to challenges
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle a variety of projects while meeting deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional communications skills, with emphasis on interpersonal communication, and client / customer service
