The role of the Senior Recruiter will be an integral part of Navigant's global recruiting team and will serve as a critical enabler of the Company’s on-going successful growth and expansion.  The company has a need for an experienced recruiter who is both a hunter as well as an excellent problem solver. Continued growth has created an opportunity to increase recruiting resources.
Our talent acquisition team represents our company’s culture; we are hands-on and entrepreneurial.   We pride ourselves in our ability to identify strong talent and the satisfaction of working alongside some of the brightest experts in our industry.  As such, this individual will be a member of a highly capable, highly engagedrecruiting team.  The team works directly with business managers, practice leaders and the broader Human Capital group to support the practice hiring managers with their talent management needs. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Partner with Practice Leaders in order to support and deliver upon the company’s recruiting strategy.
  • Proactively engage in departmental discussions to identify opportunities /needs for improvement, across all areas of recruitment.
  • Serve as the lead change agent for keyrecruiting initiatives by establishing the following:
    • Consensus building among key stakeholders across the firm
    • Change management work plan and execution
  • Serves as an experienced hire subject matter expert on the recruiting process; from sourcing and screening candidates, interviewing, negotiating compensation and restrictive covenants, closing, and working with other Human Capital colleagues to ensure the successful on-boarding of candidates.
  • Partner with the Compensation team in developing offer structures for all levels of candidates.
  • Manages the use of external search partners, as necessary.

  • A superior sense of urgency with the demonstrated ability to deliver results
  • Strong business acumen; fluent grasp of those business issues which are most common to the consulting industry
  • Good knowledge of the specialty consulting market and the Company’s place within it the competitive landscape
  • Thorough understanding of the various consulting business operating models and their key financial metrics/drivers
  • Frequently communicates with clients and coworkers and must be able to share information effectively
  • Superior communications skills: in both written documents and in delivering presentations
  • Ability to succeed in fast paced environment and adapt to change
  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks, as well as to delegate
  • Generally works in an office environment


  • Undergraduatedegree strongly preferred; graduate degreepreferred
  • Prior experiencerecruiting for various roles across a large professional services firm or consulting company at multiple levels. 
  • Minimum of eight total years of full life cycle recruitment experience.
  • Strong background in innovative sourcing solutions with a demonstrated track record in delivering recruiting results for multiple practices
  • Experience in implementing successful/effective processes for a professional staff
  • Consultative recruiting approach; effects an appropriate degree of engagement of the practitioners/hiring managers
  • Effective at selling the Navigant employment brand
  • Strong experience with restrictive covenants and complex compensation issues
  • Self-directed with strong fact based/intuitive skills
  • Superior communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external clients
  • Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability and desire to learn and expand technical competence
