JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Recruiter and HR Manager owns and manages the full-life-cycle recruitment process and performs various HR duties including, but not limited to, the areas of employee relations, performance management, and employee benefits and compensation administration. The Senior Recruiter and HR Manager is self-motivated to find top talent to assist the company in meeting its strategic goals and develops strong working relationships with management and employees to build and maintain the integrity of the HR department within the organization. This highly visible position will need to network and develop strong business relationships within the industry. This person will pursue and develop recruiting and HR excellence for the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manages the company's recruiting process including posting positions, candidate screening, selection and offer process

• Manages the new hire onboarding process and participates in New Hire Orientation Sessions

• Assists with the development of innovative activities to enhance and promote Arctic IT recruitment brand

• Collaborates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills

• Researches, identifies and recommends best practices for full cycle recruitment function, including alternative staffing strategies, and implements sourcing initiatives to assist in building candidate base

• Quickly and successfully builds an active candidate pipeline

• Handles confidential and non-routine information in a professional manner

• Develop/maintain contacts and act as liaison with schools, alumni groups, outreach organizations, and other groups as necessary to meet recruiting objectives to include attendance at job fairs

• Proactive research of competitors to keep on top of the changes within the industry

• Provides excellent client service both internally & externally

• Possesses a high level of initiative & energy to achieve recruiting targets

• Compliant with corporate recruiting requirements to include Doyon shareholder and other diversity hiring initiatives and goals

• Works collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment

• Responsible for ensuring personal / professional information is accurate and maintained

• Complies with all company and client safety standards

• Follows all company policies and procedures

• Maintains and ensures compliance with hiring managers for diversity Affirmative Action Plan compliance, outreach goals, good faith documentation and reporting initiatives

• Owns the administration and facilitation of HR projects including employee engagement, annual employee compliance training and related activities, compensation reviews and performance management

• Works with parent company HR team on pre-employment processing and other HR related initiatives

• Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of human resources functions

• Contributing to the development of HR goals, objectives, and systems

• Creating and revising job descriptions

• Developing, analyzing and updating the company's evaluation program

• Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures

• Maintaining and revising the company's handbook on policies and procedures

• Conducts terminations and exit interviews

• Advise and assist on corrective action matters and providing direction to management staff and team members

• Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and people processes

• Performs all other duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline

• Minimum of five (5+) years of HR experience

• Minimum of five (5+) years of recruitment experience

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

• Experience in technical recruiting

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required

• Experience recruiting within an information technology (IT) or software development firm

• Proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience recruiting IT managed services and/or Microsoft ERP/CRM professionals a plus

• Experience using UltiPro and/or other Ultimate Software applications a plus.
