OPPORTUNITY: New role reporting to the Quality Director. Client is a global manufacturer in products for medical device, automotive, aerospace and consumer electronics channels and they are seeking an experienced Quality Leader to direct and manage the day-to-day activities of the Quality Group. Key functions include:

  • Develop, implement and track business strategic plan and department objectives.
  • Develop design verification, product validation and production quality control processes.
  • Lead Quality projects, including working with R&D on new product development.
  • Coach, train and manage Quality staff.
  • Develop metrics to analyze products efficiencies and drive continuous improvements.
  • Lead quality improvement projects to reduce customer complaints and manufacturing non-conformances.
  • Lead Corrective Action Prevention Action (CAPA) and risk management systems.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure cross-functional company goals are met.
  • Manage in-process audit program.
  • Occasional travel to suppliers, customers, and professional development seminars (<10%).

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry. ASQ certification or advanced degreepreferred. 7-10 years' experience. Ideal candidate with come from a lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma setting. Experience must be within an ISO certified environment.

REWARD: $90,000-$110,000 DOE, 10% bonus target and an excellent benefit package!
